Privacy Policy

Beta · last updated 18 July 2026

This is a plain-language beta privacy notice, written to match how the service actually works today. It is not legal advice; a lawyer should review it before Drum Pilot charges money or launches broadly.

Drum Pilot ("we") lets you upload a song and get a drum chart to practice from. This notice explains what we collect and why. Questions: johnnygaboff@gmail.com.

What we collect

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts. We do not collect your name, email, or payment details unless you contact us or (in the future) create an account.

How your audio is processed

To separate and analyze the drums, your audio is sent to trusted third-party audio-processing services and to our hosting provider. They process it to deliver the result and under their own terms; we do not authorize them to use it for anything else. A current list of these processors is available on request.

How long we keep it

Uploaded files and their results are stored temporarily on our server to deliver your chart and are not kept longer than needed to run the service. They are periodically cleared and are not pooled or reused across users.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EEA/UK under GDPR and California under CCPA/CPRA), you may ask us to access or delete your data, and you can object to certain processing. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. To make a request, email us at the address above.

Children

Drum Pilot is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 (or 16 in the EEA) to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from children under those ages.

Changes

We'll update this notice as the service grows and note the date at the top.
